Alleged Huawei Nova 6 5G Mid-Range Phone Tipped to Launch in December

Chinese smartphone maker Huawei seems all set to add another device to its 5G flagship smartphone series very soon. After the launch of Huawei Nova 4 in last December and Huawei Nova 5 in June this year, the company doesn’t seem like taking a break. As per the recent leak, Huawei is bringing 5G connectivity to its mid-range phones as well and the first among those phones might be the Huawei Nova 6.

Chinese tipster revealed Huawei Nova 6 5G phone with model number of WLZ-AN00 to have passed China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology certification, which indicates that this phone might launch before the year end. Tipster Even Blass Digital Chat Station on Weibo was first to spot the alleged Huawei Nova 6 5G's CMIIT which also mentions that Nova 6 will support both 5G and 4G LTE networks. Also, it is believed that the 5G model might be powered by the Kirin 990 5G chipset.

It appears Huawei Nova 6 to join Honor V30 which will also support 5G by being a mid-range offering that will build upon its predecessor – the Huawei Nova 5. Huawei is expected to announce the Honor V30 series on November 26 in China. Therefore it is assumed that Huawei Nova 6 5G will launch sometime after the Honor V30 series, so it might be announced in China in December.

However, nothing else related to this phone has been leaked or revealed yet but according to tipster Huawei Nova 6 is codenamed as “Waltz”. For now we are somewhat sure that the company is coming up with it’s another 5G device but this time it would definitely be a pocket friendly one. So keep following phonebatao.com for recent updates, leaks and news related to not just Huawei Nova 6 but any of your favourite handset.
