Google Voice receiving Dark Mode support in the latest update

It took a decade for the company to understand the need for Dark Mode support on smartphones. Google is leading the way to bring Dark Mode support for its Android-based Apps. After rolling out native Dark Mode support in Android 10, Google is now working to bring the dark mode support for each Android App.

Recently, Google has started rolling out the support for the dark themes in the latest update. It is powerful and convenient apps used over by millions of users across the Globe. The new Dark Mode will bring a more pleasant interface for users especially on OLED displays. It will also help the devices to conserve some battery.

There are different ways to turn on the Dark Mode on Android 10. The first and foremost way is to toggle the global Dark Mode option in the Android 10 settings. This option will automatically turn on the Dark Mode in the latest update. Another way is to toggle the dark mode by going into the Voice App menu’s > Settings > Display Options > Theme and selecting "Dark."

However, some users are unable to access the night mode feature even after updating the app. It appears the night mode feature is either compatible on Android 10 or there’s some server-side switch.
