Meizu 16S Pro with Snapdragon 855 Plus Spotted on AnTuTu Benchmark

Meizu is slated to announce the 16S Pro on August 28 in China. But the specifications of the device is already out on the web thanks to an AnTuTu benchmark listing. According to the listing, the Meizu 16S Pro with codename m1973 will be powered by the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus.

Other than the hottest Snapdragon processor with Adreno 640 GPU underneath, the Meizu 16S Pro will come equipped with an FHD+(2232 x 1080 pixels) display which is the norm for a budget flagship smartphone. The variant which was tested on AnTuTu included 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. However, there are chances for a higher storage variant. Finally, the listing reveals the phone to run Android Pie out of the box which is obvious.

Previously, the Meizu 16S Pro was spotted on China’s 3C which revealed it to arrive with a 24W fast charger. The phone was even spotted on a Chinese online retailer named Taobao spilling all the specifications. According to that, the device will sport an AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate. It will also include an under-display fingerprint sensor like any other flagship smartphone these days.

Other features of Meizu 16S Pro according to the retailer’s listing include 256GB UFS 3.0 storage, 12GB RAM and a triple camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary sensor and a 20MP telephoto shooter with a third unknown sensor. The listing says the phone will support 18W fast charging which contradicts with the 3C listing. Last but not least, it will come with FlymeOS 8 based on Android Pie.
